With this new Proton Client version I have standardazied the app for the respective platform via a refactoring of the building process.
It now has the right properties for all the target oses resulting in a better overall experience in funcitionalites, stability and performance.

In this release it is provided an msi installer for Windows and very soon deb and rpm packages for linux.
Those installer will set everything up, so you will have the rigth links and the client will be available from launchers.

Uninstall the previous version before installing this one.

If you prefer there are also the build archives, which you can unpack and run where you prefer.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you want to use the client you need to create a protonMail account here.
