Currently a prerequisite for Borealis to run is that the environment variable BOREALISPATH is set in the .profile or .bashrc file of the user running the radar. This value is almost exclusively used to append paths for imports. It seems to me that there is probably a way to have that set dynamically. This would reduce one small but sometimes annoying prerequisite for running the radar.
