Marvin Wißfeld (microG project) has implemented a FLOSS version of the Exposure API provided by Google, as a drop in replacement for the proprietary API from Google. The changes seem to be very minor to include them.
There is already a version of the German Corona Warn App without Google dependencies available which will be available on F-Droid soon.

Would it be possible to have a FLOSS branch of the SwissCivid App as well?

I believe only a change to a few lines in the dependencies is needed.
One could then either compile it himself or it could be submitted to F-Droid for reliable distribution and updates.

That would solve issue #60, #59 and DP-3T/dp3t-sdk-android#10

GOOD NEWS:
Someone has created a fork without google dependecies (microg/GmsCore#1179), that is still in early alpha state but did install fine on my LineageOS 17.1 and seems to send out BLE notifications.
