As I wasn't able to find any other way to contact you, here is my question:

Is there any benefit of using Snapshooter over Verifier?

Hi BigHoss,

Sorry for late answer... I dont think there is a special benefit of using Snapshooter over Verifiy. Both libraries are a good choice for Snapshot testing. We have just a bit another handling of snapshot files, but the concept is the same. If I am honest, Verify has more features and extra libraries as Snapshooter.

But if you need a small Snapshot-Testing library with some extra options to ignore, exclude, include, accept fields in your snapshot, then Snapshooter is not a bad choice.

I think the best is to shortly try both and decide which one you like more or has the features you want.

Maybe one benefit is, that snapshooter is used and supported by the company SwissLife.
