What is the way to generate/update the product image cache in the map /media/cache?

I believe those cache files are managed via the liip_imagine filter. I believe clearing the cache via cache:clear also clears those files.

@Richtermeister Is right, LiipImagineBundle (if properly configured) removes the cache files automatically when the php app/console cache:clear is called.
