I've installed Sabnzbd on my DS1813+ and am having a problem where I can't save any settings. I enter settings in the configuration, hit the save button and then they're gone when I refresh the screen.

It was also my understanding that it should create a user account called sabnzbd, which it doesn't seem to be doing during the install.

I'm running DSM 5 and installed Sabnzbd manually through the package site linked in another thread here. Anyone have any advise how to get this working? I really want to move away from download station, as the lack of PAR/PAR2 support is a real pain.

EDIT:

I should note that my server information is getting saved, but other options like my watched folder doesn't.

Please take a look at the Sab logfiles. It's most likely showing Cannot create directory /volume1/sabnzbd/incomplete, or something equivalent to your chosen folders.
It's related to #827.

As a sidenote, the user sabnzbd is created, just not visible in the GUI. That's intentional.

You're correct! It was a permission issue.

Thanks for the advice!

We'll come up with a proper way to integrate that in the package. Closing this issue, if you don't mind :)
