I'm using Windows 8.1 pro with an IntelHD graphics 4600, BizHawk is 2.9 . I'm Emulating Castlevania SOTN using nymashock 1.29 , in about half an hour of gameplay , the emulator just stops working . Display method is OpenGL.

Do any other PSX games on Nymashock suffer this issue? What about Octoshock?

Interesting thing I noticed in that screen too is the disk LED icon was on, indicating disc reading was taking place. I wonder if read access to the disc files was suddenly denied (weird antivirus? in case if that does happen the emulator will crash)? If the above two cases also causes this, see if another disc system game causes it (like Saturn), and if cart based systems cause it.

Haven't tried any other game on Nymashock but , I've been playing SOTN on Octoshock as suggested by CasualPokePlayer about an hour plus with no issues at all. I'll try to play other games on Nymashock later . Thank you
