As in title. Probably happens because I have only 2GB of RAM. Anycase, it's really weird how it only happens with Profile Config set to Casual Gaming or to Longplays, otherwise doesn't happen even with the highest buffer size setting.
Repro # 1:
Set the Profile Config to Casual Gaming or to Longplays
Launch a PSX game (I used Tekken 3 USA)
Set rewinder Max buffer size to 10 or higher

Set the Profile Config to Casual Gaming or to Longplays
Launch an NDS game (I used Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Metal Slug 7)
Set rewinder Max buffer size to 9 or higher
If I set to exactly 9, I have to close BizHawk and launch it again; rebooting the core won't cause the error here.
Additional Notes:
This error also prevents me from being able to start recording a new movie, either with or without TAStudio.
As I wrote, "it only happens with Profile Config set to Casual Gaming or to Longplays", with other Profile Configs doesn't happen even with the highest buffer size, so there is clearly something wrong going on.
It could at very least have a proper error message that makes it clear what is happening and why, since it stops from being able to start recording.
@vadosnaprimer told me to open this issue, I didn't even wanted to do it myself.
