config = yaml.load(f.read())

The yaml.load() function used here without specifying a Loader was deprecated due to a security vulnerability, and the library throws a warning to this effect every time the script is run. As a workaround, I've substituted the yaml.safe_load() function in place of yaml.load() and this seems to be working out so far.
