This is not really an issue, but couldn't think of where this might go; does the app as is (checked out) support filefields?

The docs say not but the models, fields are there in the source code...

I haven't yet tested the file fields, but currently it would be displayed just like the image widgets, so it will try to generate an image thumbnail. From the second half of september I hope to start working on it again, and then I will add file icons for many file types, plus file type checking for the FileField and FileFields.
