Can we search without pressing enter ?

the SearchBar is really nice but I was wondering is there a way to avoid the need to press enter everytime we want to make a search?

i don't understand why the search icon is being replaced with an X symbol when I'm starting to add some input?
if it only appears when the search bar is empty what is the use of the search icon?

i would prefer to have both icons whenever I write some text, one for searching (i.e calls onRequestSearch) and the other for clearing the text

not sure if it matters but I'm using stateless components (with useState hook)
