The client story requires us to implement an interactive solution that supports multiple users. The product has to reflect changes made by one user to others so the product has to include both - client & server side.

Client Side -
The options are:

  • Application for PCs
  • website
  • mobile application

Server Side -
The options are:

  • dedicated server Linux OS based.
  • dedicated server Windows OS based.
  • dedicated server iOS based.

Client side: as discussed in the first meeting (30/10/17), the most flexibale & convenient way to implement such solution is a web app (client runs in a web browser).
Advantages: Compatibility (across devices), Upgradability, Time and Cost.
Disadvantages: Can't push information in real time.

I'll vote for the website solution with a Linux based server because I am very familiar with these platforms.

I agree, I think the we should go with a website solution on the client side and a Linux based server

The first step will be a Website
Maybe an App in the bright future.
