Can you try to reboot Homey, wait for all app to have loaded (see settings> apps > no spinning circles) and retry to included the Scene Master...

Otherwise, please try to remove the Scene Master first via settings > Z-wave > remove device (follow instructions) and then the steps mentioned above to include it

Hello @TedTolboom

no it won't work, i tried what you mentioned above but it still searching for a suitable app.. although I'm questioning why it's searching for that. I allready have a app installed for this device(your remotec app).

Do you have other suggestions to fix this problem?

thanks in advance!

@TedTolboom Do you know an other way to figure out why I can't add the SceneMaster to my homey?

@MiteZZ @Honorar Just to verify, you are using an EU version Remotec Scene Master, right?

In addition, which option do you use when you add the Scene Master?
Homey > Z-wave or Remotec technologies app and then Scene Master device?

Can you try the following actions with the Remotec Scene Master in close proximity of Homey:

  1. Replace the batteries with a fresh (unused) set
  2. Remove the devices: Settings > Z-wave > remove a device > press the "L" button until the LED lights up, you should get the feedback that the device was removed.
  3. Reset the Scene Master to defaults: Press and keep holding "R" button not less than 10 seconds. Followed by Release "R" button then triple click on "R" button within 2 seconds.
  4. Include the Remotec Scene Master by "add a device" > Remotec Technologies app > Remotec Scene Master > When prompted, follow the instructions: Press the “L” button at the rear side of the Scene Master until the LED light up to add the device into the Z-Wave network.

If this fails, please follow the same steps and chose at 4. the option "add a device" > Homey > Z-wave > When prompted to include the device, follow the instructions: Press the “L” button at the rear side of the Scene Master until the LED light up to add the device into the Z-Wave network.

hi @TedTolboom ,

when trying to add the Scenemaster I get the following error:

No compatible Homey App has been found for this device.

It has been added as a Basic Z-Wave device.

as such the device is added as a standard z-wave device and doesn't work properly - homey ends up adding a simple switch which doesn't even work.

I've tried all the steps above including the, battery checks, "Reset the Scene Master to defaults" followed by re-adding it. None of the above seems to successfully add it to Homey.

it is also leaving rubbish on Homey as it can't delete the device.

I have also tested adding this same device into another hub (Fibaro HC2) and it worked fine, which may suggest something wrong with the Homey app?

would you be able to advise what to do ?

@rzlo is it an EU version of the scene master or by chance the AU version of the scene master?
What is shown in the device information as ID's?

Hi TedTolboom,
it's the AU version.
