Use webhook instead of bot for fancier relayed messages #172
Comments
yes, you can so now: https://discord.com/developers/docs/resources/webhook#edit-webhook-message |
Interesting, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be in the discord.js library TediCross is using yet. The closest you get is this, which edits the webhook itself. Hopefully in v13 of it, along with support for Discord replies |
Oops. Seems like they did add this. Great time to resurrect this request. |
Althrough i'm not using tedicross anymore (Telegram was temporarily banned in my country, and even after being reinstated most of the "mainstream" users were shooed away) i would love to see if is there any updates about this. |
@vico93 I also don't think this bridge is needed anymore. Matrix has a Telegram and a Discord bridge, and if you connect them in the same Matrix room, essentially you are bridging Telegram <-> Discord. https://t2bot.io/ provides public instances of both bridges, so you don't even have to host them. |
I've seen someone being able to edit and delete a webhook message, I think Discord has finally added these features to webhooks, please correct me if I am wrong.
