Description

When adding a contact that only has a username the url added to the contacts is malformed with this format https://t.me/@idId(rawValue:%)

Expected Behavior

A URL with the format: https://t.me/ so when tapping from the contact app the user gets redirected to the screen.

Actual Behavior

When adding the contact and then tapping the telegram field in the contact app the user is able to go to a chat with that user.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start a new chat
  2. Look for a user by their handle
  3. Add to contacts
  4. Open contacts app
  5. Tap on the contacts field

Environment

Device: iPhone 13 Pro

iOS version: 15.1.1

App version: 8.3.1

I have this bug too on iphone SE 2016, IOS 15.3, Telegram 8.5. Problematic as it creates duplicate entries in phone contact list

I saved some contacts this way but can no longer remember their username. How is this encoded? Is it possible to recover the username that was supposed to be saved?
