In line with the idea "When I buy a product, I own every part of it.", I'd suggest adding:

It's permitted, and technically possible, to install a third-party firmware

This overlaps a little with the third-party repair sections:

The company does not use technical, feature-level, or legal means to block a consumer's ability to get a device repaired.

Thanks! At the moment, we feel the audience who would care about customizing their firmware is too small / niche. It also feels like an issue we can address in the future once more fundamental concerns are addressed.
