If your Chromebook is school managed they might block Chrome extensions, the console and bookmarklets so you won't be able to use it. First try installing tampermonkey. If that doesn't work type javascript:alert("Hello World") in any tab (except a new tab) to see if bookmarklets work, if they do use the bookmarklet code. Otherwise right click to see if you can click inspect or not. If you can paste in the code. If none of this works then you can't use the hacks.
