WX-500 works but with NEX5R setting and some issues

First of all an excellent app as the time lapse play memories app is not compatible!

I have a Sony WX500 which I have managed to get working using the NEX5R setting. The only issues that i have ran into is:

1. I have to restart the app to get it to connect
2. If the phone locks itself the timing starts going out of wack but does continue to work
3. I do have frames being dropped (error says they have been dropped due to being far away or the battery low, which both are not the case)

Is it possible (being as there is a setting that already works) to add a option for the WX500 with a few tweaks so it works as expected? also the phone locking itself might be a general issue with my specific phone but i though i would mention it anyway.
