Backface visibility : hidden in chrome crashes background-images #9

On chrome

body, .animated, * {
backface-visibility: hidden;
-o-backface-visibility: hidden;
-moz-backface-visibility: hidden;
-webkit-backface-visibility: hidden;
}

gives issues with images set as background-images on elements.
