None is assigned to the second, etc. partition in a VHD and the menu item in Disk Management to do so is greyed out.

Oh, somehow auto-mounting got disabled. Maybe it could check to see if its enabled before mounting the disk image and enable if its not. If it is, then leave the option alone.

I found an article about auto-mounting here: www.tenforums.com Feel free to implement this feature if you need it. I will try to fix the other, more severe bugs in the meantime.

Maybe this will assign drive letters to single/multiple partition VHD(x)(s) no matter what "auto mount" is set to:
