Description

If i join any official game on my main account the server gets ddosd within 5 minutes. If i log into an alt account the problem goes away. Clearly a DOS list must exist or theres a serious bug that my account causes on my main. I dont think thats the issue, so the problem is likely a DDOS vulnerability thats being executed. Pings dont go up but everyone rubber bands and can barely move in game. It lags like crazy even though pings are normal.

I am not the one issuing the DOS attack nor does my machine have any infected files on it. Ive scanned it many times. This "HIT LIST" type of attack has happened in the past 6 months. There are still holes that need to be patched.

Reproduction steps

When i join any game on an official server only it gets DOSd within 4-5 minutes. Whats happening is attackers are likley logging easily accessible steam IDs then scans the servers waiting for that ID to join and then attacks the server w/ a DOS to prevent the player on that account from playing.

The solution is to stop making the unique ids accessible to scanners.
