Not sure I see the point about the link, book learning about the current period only ('numerical sense') is the theory rather than the practise, doesn't matter whether she had to read up on it or had that documentation downloaded directly. If this is a lore point about how it happens though, then yeah change makes sense. |

The idea is that Arc doesn't actually need to actively spend time reading up on stuff and learning about things. She naturally gains the information, which is the link to them talking about 'experience outweighing theory'.
