Handle missing degree_description metadata support

As of v3.x of the Degree CPT Plugin, the degree_description metadata is no longer assigned to imported degrees. We should either update the theme to deprecate usage of the degree_description value in get_degree_desc(), or add a custom hook that imports the catalog description from the Django Search Service (like we use on the Main Site Theme) to continue supporting that value.
