Room names are unique. For many installations a room with the same name exists in different buildings. Room names should thus not be unique but have an other primary key.
Having room id as a unique string in NAV is pretty ingrained in the NAV codebase. Changing this to a integer primary key would have ramifications for large parts of the codebase.
Also, should room names still be unique on each location, or should it be possible to register two rooms with the same name on the same location? Options are endless ;-P
