Minor Update

Based on the same line, I would suggest shorter names for same personas.

• Student - who want to learn new technologies for good cause
• Developer - who want to apply their technologies and exchange information
• Operator - who want to improve their operational tasks
• Mapper - who want better data for good cause

翻訳するなかで少し意味のずれはありますが、翻訳を作ってみました。

• 学習者
• 開発者
• 運用者
• 測量者

あなたはどのペルソナの要素が強いですか。私は「運用者」の要素が強く、運用者の範囲内で少しだけ「開発者」の要素があります。感銘を受けた言葉（気になる言葉）は「運用でカバー」です（笑）。

@hfu thank you for refining the personas (and translating them)! I think we can proceed with creating the user stories based off of these personas!

Japanese カタカナ語 version

I created this version because I like the idea of personas and I want our friends to familiarize them. This version would look more stylish and so cool for Japanese audience ;-)

• ラーナー (learner in English, was: 学習者)
• デベロッパー (developer in English, was: 開発者)
• オペレーター (operator in English, was: 運用者)
• マッパー (mapper in English, was: 測量者)

I am a little bit afraid that these can feel like Japanese-English. :-) What do you think?

@hfu Oh, I think these are definitely cooler!

Maybe you can leave the Japanese Kanji version in parenthesis, so it looks like:

ラーナー(学習者) or do you think that is too much?

In some context, I guess マッパー should be 地図作成者. But I just would like to make all of them into 3 Kanji characters ;-)

@hfu From my limited Japanese I probably agree that マッパー is more like 地図作成者!! But yes, then they all wouldn't be 3 kanji characters!

@albertkun I agree. 測量者 would be surveyor while 地図作成者 (or 地図作製者 to be more proper...) is map maker. Mapper would be a nice casual word with no directly corresponding word in Japanese.
