Installer froze on splash screen during reboot after install. Required hard reboot. Updates and several reboot since with no problems
Machine info in neofetch screen shot.

Update:
I just tried installing on a different machine and see what it's doing. It appears to freeze but it's at the point where it's supposed to say "remove installation media and hit enter to reboot". It just doesnt show the text so it looks like it's frozen. But remove the thumb drive and hit enter and all goes like it's supposed to.
