Reproduction steps

Good evening, I reinstalled xindows10 on an SSD, then installed Ultimaker cura5.4, it worked once..
I have this error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "cura_app.py", line 94, in

How to get Cura working again.
I restarted the PC with no change.
Uninstalled Cura, then reinstalled no change...

Thanks for the report.
Maybe @rburema has a thought on this one. It might be a "Windows thing" and the permissions of the folder and security settings of the folder might be coming into play.

  • Did you run Cura in administrator mode?
  • The files in the AppData\Roaming\cura* are user configuarion files, and should be recreated when deleted (though that will make Cura think you stared it for the 1st time) you could try to delete stderr.log and stdout.log and the 5.4 folder, and then run Cura as normal.
