This lesson will provide a brief overview of how to create a website in RStudio with the blogdown package. Although blogdown can be used to create websites with a variety of purposes, we will be covering how to make a simple academic blog, how to add pages, and how to add a few sample blog posts written in R Markdown.
If you're new to Discord, see here (PDF) on how to attend the event!
Installation Instructions: If you would like to follow along, please have R and RStudio installed as well as the blogdown package (can be installed by running install.packages('blogdown') in the R console).
Lesson material: TBA
Note: Our sessions will all be held online until further notice, instead of at the MADLab. If you need help with installation, please be sure to show up at 17:50 (5:50 pm) so that we can help you out before the lesson!
