ui: speed up hover when plot contains a lot of dots

Right now hover on plots like these is painfully janky:

Hey! Super unexpected but happy to see you here, we are huge uPlot fans, thanks a ton for such a great library.

We'll eliminate all our customizations that can cause a potential slowdown and try to reproduce with stock uPlot. If we'll be able to, we will open a separate issue together with all data required to reproduce it.
