Editor window lock up

Describe the bug
Was running webpack, encountered a javascript error during npm run watch.The editor locks up for every open window. It works in the terminal but cannot type in any window. If I disable VIM in plugins and restart VC, i can edit in the editor again.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. run webpacker in terminal
2. create a js error that causes the webpack to compain
3. try to edit any file.

Expected behavior
The editor window is locked. Everything else seems ok.

Mac OS 10.15.3
VC 1.42.1
VSCODEVIM 1.13.0
webpack 4.41.2
npm@6.13.7

deleted all extensions. reinstalled vim. working again.
