Dota 2 banning me for not connecting when I'm at the hero selection screen

Description

After accepting the game it will send me to the hero selection screen but is all black, this was normal before the current patch, but now it just kicks me and ban my account, I'm afraid this scales to a bigger timer so I will stop playing for now.
