Hello, I tried to play Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York on Linux (Pop! OS) through Steam Play but after the loading screens the screen just showed black with audio playing and mouse cursor on screen. Thank you.

Hello @KJVGalations216, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and drag and drop the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log into the comment box. Also, please copy your system information from Steam (Steam -> Help -> System Information) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.

The game requires mfplat. I tried it already. If you install it, the game runs without any problems at all.

As @mozo78 indicated, this game would benefit from support for Media Foundation maturing.
