Last Day of June (635320) Launches To Black Screen

I tried running Last Day of June using Proton and it launches but only goes to a black screen. The Steam AppID of the game is 635320. I added PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch and got the following log:

I have checked whether there are updates for my system available and I am up to date

Looks like this game would benefit from support for Media Foundation maturing.
