Symptoms

Cutscenes don't play, screen stays black. They can however be skipped. When skipping a few cutscenes at the beginning, the game seems to run fine.

The game has a normal launch option (assuming DX11) and a launch option for DX12. Both seem to work fine, but have the same issue with the cutscenes.

I also tried to run the game with Proton Experimental, but when starting a new game, I briefly get a distorted image in what seems to be in 4:3 format, although I always use 16:9 and then the game crashes. Happens in normal and DX12 mode.

Reproduction

Launch the game and start a new game.

Symptoms

Game crashes on random moments. First the screen freezes and the sound is gone. Then the sound comes back for a second or two and then the game crashes and I'm returned to the library of steam. Ive tried both Play The Medium and Play The Medium DX12 with the same result.
