Thanks, you are using the NVIDIA 390 series video driver, which is older than the support cutoff for Proton. Please update to the NVIDIA 470 series video driver, which is the last driver series to support your Kepler generation video card. Also, it should be noted that 32 bit OpenGL is not using your video card and is instead using llvmpipe as a fallback to render on your CPU. |
Ar you 100% sure the 470 series video driver is supported by my card, last time i changed drivers i was diagnosing for 5 hours before i found the fix |
In general, yes, your video card is supported up to the NVIDIA 470 driver series, but not 495 or newer. The supported products tab of https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/186016/en-us includes your GTX 660 Ti. You do need to make sure that NVIDIA's running kernel module, 64 bit userspace libraries, and 32 bit userspace libraries are exactly the same version for the NVIDIA proprietary driver to work properly. |
