Symptoms

Black screen on launch. Tried proton experimental and proton GR 7.20 also.

Reproduction

Launch game, black screen.

Seeing some tinker reports of success but cannot get this to launch with nVidia 510 or 515 with any of proton-experimental or recent Proton-GE versions. Proton-GE throws a "fatal error" dialogue and standard Steam proton sits at the black screen indefinitely.

Seems to lock 3 cores at 100% and spins away doing nothing with a black screen. I left it for a while to see if it was loading but after 20 minutes nothing had changed.

Was briefly working - latest version does not detect joystick under DX11 and crashes after intro video on default startup.

Tested current Proton, Experimental and various Proton-GE builds. Same on all. Games updates seem to have broken Proton support.
