Symptoms

• The game crashes on a white screen instead of playing video cut-scenes. Late in the game, one cut-scene plays before a checkpoint and because of this the game cannot be completed.

Reproduction

• Starting a new game and after a short tutorial a video cutscene would play but the game crashes instead.

Notes

• This issue happens with Proton 6.3-8 as well. It doesn't happen with Proton 5.13-6 or Proton-GE 7.0.
• This is a Unity game which also generates its own logs: error.log output_log.txt

@rexpulli This is actually fixed with the Proton release currently in progress :D There is currently a live beta for 7.0-4 that you could try out, or you can wait for it to be released officially sometime in the next week or so.

I just tried the release candidate for 7.0-4 and I can confirm that it fixes the issue.
