The gas cans that you have to collect in The Port (3rd chapter of The Passing) can get stuck on top of a building. This can happen if (and maybe not limited to) a boomer blows up near one of the gas cans that you already interacted with, it can fly upwards and if you're unlucky it can land on top of a building.
This is what it looks like if it were to happen.
Because there is no way to get up there other than to noclip and fly, you can throw a molotov/explosive up there or try to get an angle at the stuck gas cans and shoot it so it'd get destroyed and respawn, but what if you can't get an angle at it or there are no molotovs/explosives that spawn? You'll have to restart your progress of the chapter.
Looking at it hypothetically, this can happen at any point in the stage. It just so happened to happen to me quite late in the stage and it was quite frustrating and funny at the same time.
Maybe make it so gas cans can't be blown away by boomers or other explosives?
