Bad performance since Operation Bloodhound #362
Comments
I'm having the same issue. Performance is all over the place and seems to get worse the longer the game runs with the new update. It was working pretty well before that. |
I can't confirm the lag on scoreboard, however I can say that almost all the maps on new operation (excluding Agency) are really resource intensive when compared to classic maps available in CS:GO. |
I can confirm performance problems, however I only experience them on the new maps; turning down my graphics settings was an ok workaround. |
I can reproduce the scoreboard issue too. Might be related to #292 , even though I had no problems until the update. |
I had an issue the same as #292 before the update, but it was totally bearable, the fps would only drop to around 30, but everything was still smooth. The problem has become much worse after the update. Opening the score board now causes little hangs where where all audio glitches and repeats, so for example I have no idea what people say at team switch or after the game ends as the scoreboard is up. Bringing the scoreboard up now causes me to lag in the game, ping climbs constantly the longer the scoreboard is open and other players can see me rubberbanding and teleporting. People speculated in the other issue that it was something to do with flash being used to create the scoreboard. Does the new update use a new method or version? |
A lot of bugfixes that were made seem to have become undone with this update... Casual, deathmatch, ... are unplayable once more because of low framerates (although not as extreme as it was back then) and the drops in framerate when looking at the scoreboard have also once more increased. |
I'm affected too, scoreboard performance is even worse since last patch, but I've heard that windows users are affected too. |
The operation maps are giving me some bad performance (exception being 'season'). Usually i get about 100-200fps. The map 'log' is dropping me to 40fps in most places, the central bridge area seems to be the biggest offender at dropping fps. 'zoo' and 'rails' have some small framerate dropping issues is a few areas. 'agency' is mostly okay. The rest of the standard maps in active duty/reserved don't seem to be affected by any performance drops for me. The scoreboard is dropping alot of fps on all maps however when it is opened manually. At the end of the match when it is forced to appear, there is no fps drop. nvidia GTX 650 ti 2GB (v352.09) |
Starting with #1111, we are switching to a common issue report for general performance problems. If you are still encountering this issue, you can post there. |
Hi Guys,
i played a de_season match about 30 minutes ago. And i had really bad performance (FPS drops) If i hit "tab" for show the score table my fps drops to about 60 from 300. It was overall really laggy and the fps was really "shaky" (between 60-300.) Before the patch it was (on the same map yesterday!) 250-300 fps without drops.
I use an up2date ArchLinux (XFCE) with latest nvidia drivers and kernel (Gtx 660 Ti, an xeon e3-1231 v2 and 16gb ram).
De_season and open the score-screen was fine until the patch.
Can someone confirm that or is my system the problem here?
