I've noticed this with the flashlight in the HUD showing empty, but then I press the F key and the flashlight is at full power. If it's any help I'll add system information to this. Yes I'm aware a fifteen year old game is no longer top priority, but for the sake of consistency let's leave this here. It can always be fixed if time permits.

I can assist with debugging and other stuff to lighten your load. I'll try to check this every few days for the next week or so. Hoping we can get some logs at least for the sake of helping this be fixed one day, no matter how long in the future it is.

Blue shift and Opposing Force have this bug too, I don´t know if is present in other goldsrc games, I have only Half-Life and its expansions, no MP mods.

Recently I've been replaying WON copy of Half-Life and I can confirm this bug on version 1.0.0.9 and 1.1.1.0.

This is a duplicate of #388. Both refer to the flashlight HUD icon not being reinitialized properly on save game load.
