The steam menu bar does not work correctly. While I can click on Steam, Friends, etc and the associated drop down menu item appears, attempts to click on the items in the menu do not register. In fact it seems to highlight the store behind it instead.

Linux Distribution: Gentoo AMD64
Kernel Version: 3.5.7-gentoo-tycho
Window Manager: Wmii 3.9.2-r3 (running a separate x server for steam with a single active display)
Xorg Version: 1.13.0-r1
CPU: Intel E5-2620 @ 2.0 ghz (hex-core) * 2
RAM: 64 GB DDR3 1333
Video Card: Nvidia GTX 670 2 GB
Nvidia Driver Version: 304.64

If you would like more information about my system I will be happy to provide it.

I think I've seen reports of problems with steam on its own X server - you might need to add a layer behind it unfortunately. Perhaps run it under openbox in a separate X server?

Sigh, I thought it might be the tiling window manager but it's strange because right-clicking on games and selecting menu entries works perfectly. It looks like the upper menu never grabs focus. I am currently running it in a separate X server running wmii. Fortunately I can still use Meta+shift+c to close it without killing it.

Dunno what to tell you, I'm not seeing issues on an openbox+tint2 stack and a full fledged KDE UX stack (both arch). Maybe it's just wmii...perhaps give another tiling wm a shot? see if it's tiling specific?

I found that my posting is a duplicate of another bug having to do with focus folliowing mouse as referenced in #6. I'm going to close this ticket because it's a duplicate.
