Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Any game which I'm launching trough steam causes a cpu load of almost 90%, idle(45%).
The fans go crazy and I'm not able to play games on my laptop.

Are you still having this issue and are you using the nvidia drivers?

If so, have you checked to see exactly which process is causing the high CPU load? Try running "top".

I've seen similar behavior, but in my case it's not the steam client, it's "nvidia-powerd", which is part of the "xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-power" package. Under normal use, nvidia-powerd seems to behave fine, but soon after a game is started, the fans run at full speed and the nvidia-powerd process starts consuming lots of CPU.
