What is: move one millimeter in a positive direction?

What is positive? Maybe when you know how the coordinate system is about, but how would you know?
Why not say: Move on millimeter in a positive direction, meaning to the right towards the endstop.
or similar.

Actually there is something written like: If the endstop is at 0.... .. yeah once you understand everything, everything makes sense. With lots of if's then then. Just not obvious when you are noob.

Likewise, what does that mean: stepper_x The motor will rotate clockwise first, then back counterclockwise

What is a clockwise rotation of a motor? Is it from the point of the view of the motor itself, or from some other point of view? Obviously it's meant when you look down towards the motor - I guess?

And once you have it wrong, like I had, you are going through all this though-processes and it ends up being ambigious. Exactly what it is not supposed to be.

My English is too bad to get it properly how it would be clear, but yeah well.

thanks a lot either way.
