Hi, A friend and I are trying to connect to a DCS World Server running TACView Advanced. His server is running advanced and my machine is running advanced. When he runs TACView on the machine running the server it connects immediately, when we attempt to connect to it through the network it fails. We checked firewalls and we can telnet in ok but it disconnects quickly after seeing the line below.

XtraLib.Stream.0
Tacview.RealTimeTelemetry.0

We assume due to the failed handshake. All 3 machines are running 1.7.2.
Can you please assist, we are happy to write up doco if required?

That is fantastic news. Glad to hear it wasn't something stupid that we missed.
Yes, the easiest way to simulate WAN access is to do your standard port forwarding to the machine you are hosting the application on, and they using your external IP address to connect and the port you have forwarded. It will go out to your router, hit the IP Table, realize that it is the route, and come through the port forward into the network again.
Happy to help with testing but I am in Australia so finding a time that suites us both might be difficult through the week, Perhaps your Friday night (my saturday morning) could work. I have a discord server and am happy to help were I can.
