Comments

https://gab.com/veritasworldnews/posts/106830574522596076 I turned off embed videos months ago. Every time I embedded a video it was corrupting 10-20 non embedded videos DB entries. I’ve got no embedded videos on the site now. We acknowledged but never fixed that bug AFAIK. Looking at the social media page code ... there's no media player there ... just the jpeg |
The Twitter player is for Twitter I am not sure if gab uses it or not , it is something gab site must implement |
Daniel this was working before I blew out my plug-in configuration, and I don't think Gab removed the functionality as it's still playing videos inline from other sites. Something in the open graph or twitter tags changed? |

Describe the question
This was working before I inadvertently blew out my plug-in settings. My bad lol. Where to re-enable? Issue: paste a link to a video on Gab, Twitter, etc. In the social media app the video player used to work. Now it does not; a play button appears, and disappears when pressed; no media player.

1 - before hitting what looks like play button
2 - after hitting play button (button disappears, still frame remains)
