hi
i am using waffle for windows authentication both in the web tier for authentication and for delegating
tickets from server to server to support double hopping
nevertheless i can not find any documentation or explanation for the waffle usage of windows lsass.exe which is being overwhelmed under heavy load
my question is does waffle has any capability to interact with the windows underlying components and services and somehow configure them to work with global catalog instead of ldap when trying to connect to the domain controller for the user verification ?

Not sure what version you are using but please upgrade to latest. JNA is what interacts with windows.
