First, many thanks for your great work !

It seems that your code doesn't work anymore since the last Influxdb release and particulary for the JSON request.

`Could not POST to InfluxDB API endpoint

Interesting. I haven't updated my InfluxDB deployment in a while, so I'd have to do that before I can confirm this issue.
