A Large volume of entities going through portals in this case items experience and zombified piglins (extreme throughput) can cause portal loaders very far away from farm with high volume (3k+ blocks) to break. Minecart based loader (see kdenders piglin proof for reference) to fail to complete a cycle resulting in the minecarts getting stuck and the loaders no longer functioning. These loaders normally operate correctly for months at a time.

I don't see why dimthread would ever cause this. I'll leave this up though in case anyone else runs into the same issue. But I'd bet the problem is somewhere else.

I had the same issue where chunk loaders break. This is amplified with a guardian farm and happens every few hours. With no load portal loaders can break too over a long time (weeks or longer). This does not happen when the mod is disabled.
