It should be possible to assign translation to user (set of users), so that only chosen translators will be able to work on that.

Do you mean assigning a user to a given project/subproject, or to a given language? Both are useful, IMHO.

What I meant was assigning given translation (one language within subproject), but that's just a requirement I've heard from some guys who in the end decided not to use web interface at all...

Being able to assign one language to one or user or a group of users would be nice. However, what would be really good is if you could assign a subset of the translation source to a user(s). For instance we have a load of translation source ready for translation. However, until copy is signed off it's not actually ready for translation. If there was a way of making a source string ready/not ready for translation so only a subset of strings appeared for translators that would be great!
