Components not removed after deleting files from repo

In a project with Auto Discovery of components and multilingual XLFs as source files, the components which were created by Auto Discover will not be removed when you delete the corresponding files in the git repo.

The target languages will be, but the component with its source language remains ...

... but with 0 source words:

I'd expect that after deleting the files from the repo and doing an Update and Cleanup in the repo, that all impacted components would be deleted completely and not only the target language(s) and strings.
